I figured out how to paint any sort or image or lettering. Just tape off the area with tape or sticky paper, draw outline with a pencil, then razor out the area to remove being careful not to cut into the base coat. Let the epoxy cure, or dry overnight. Depending on the temperature it will be tacky for hours. Working the epoxy in with a roller can cause foaming, especially if ur aggressive, but don't worry about it too much right now. I wouldn't bother glassing your canoe if it's already painted, just enjoy it as it is and save the glass for the next boat you build.
