G'day 'slippa,

Keep you head down with that cyclone heading your way. Rain might stop your build for a few days.

Hi guys, Thanks for appreciating the Aussie talent. On Sydney harbour the 18 footers have along tradition. Many years ago (before political correctness ruled the world) the 18's raced with true ferocity (still do actually). The crews would end in punch ups and raiding other boats if there was a rule...

KRE,

Congrats on the boat. Looks great and I love the video shots.

The consul: is it out of the plans or shop bought? I really like the hand rail on it. Looks just right there.

Well done

Interesting.

You would need to know a lot more about it before you put in a bateau boat. Is it for simply for finish or has it structural capabilities and does it work work with epoxy?
It seems to me to be a non slip finish.

Daniel, I feel your pain. You put a lot of work and money into the boat and then the uncertainty creeps in. I can't help you but other people on the board familiar with your design might better understand if you can post some pics of what your are referring to. Just a suggestion. As you know a pic s...

Congratulations on a beautiful boat. I wish I had the money to make one of those.

BTW that is a serious piece of fishing gear hanging on the back.

G'day Frazoo, In Australia we have some stuff that sounds the same as what is mentioned above. After you cut/grind the rust out or neutralize it with one of those chemicals, paint it with the anti rust type paint. What I do is then keep all exposed metal (from scratches etc) well sprayed/painted wit...

OFF TOPIC Open D tuning

Dougster,

Off topic: Drop D

Try D A D F# A D

Hear some expert open D finger picking listen to Doc Watson's Vanguard Record series version of Settin on Top of the World. (One of his live versions is stunning; the other he has cold fingers)

Cheers

Richard,

You forgot to say that the pommy navy landed the ANZACs at the wrong place. They walked into a very heavily guarded beach. Wrong place and wrong time and the pommies got it wrong.

We were from the colonies so I guess we were expendable.

Cheers

That finish is fantastic, especially not using 2pac.

I'd like to see the shots of her being splashed.

A job well done. Congrats.
