Re: Yamaha closed cooling and dry exhaust.

I understand powered paragliders, I've do that too, but that last video has no wheels? The first video you posted had an airframe with wheels mounted to it, and seems to have an engine mounted on the airframe, not on a back pack  Thats right. I used the same motor for both types of flying. Tak...

Re: Yamaha closed cooling and dry exhaust.

To foot launch you take the motor off the quad and put it on your back like a back pack. The motor w/2gal of 2cycle 100LL weighed about 56lbs. At which point in flight do you put the wheels back on  Here you go. This explains it easier than I can. This is NOT me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...

Re: Yamaha closed cooling and dry exhaust.

That is actually a foot launched powered paraglider (no license neccesary). How would you foot launch anything with 4 wheels :help: That thing weighs 200 pounds! Brett, I doubt we are kin, but I bet we have some mutual friends  Allow me to go way out on a limb and speculate..Newnan, GA.. How'd I do? Well about the only thing you got right was Newnan, GA. That is actually a foot launched powered paraglider (no license neccesary). It was a macpara ...

Re: Yamaha closed cooling and dry exhaust.

CL, now I know for sure your certifiable. Looks like fun though. I still prefer fixed wings. I don't know about certifiable, but I'm different from most folks  I like fixed wing, ram air, rotor craft, they are all fun. I'll fly anything. These powered parachutes are a hoot. I used...

Re: Crazy Terry's GF 12

Thanks George: :D I am going to give it my best. I just hope that will be good enough. You'll build a good boat Terry, just remember its your boat to build to your liking. Take your time and read the build notes and ask any questions you have on here. I guarantee it will be the best boat you have e...

Re: PH-18 scaling Question

I do not think it can be scaled up anymore. There is the PH22 if you want a larger phantom.
