I would screw or clamp a cheap 1x2 to the top and bottom edge of the sides. This would stiffen up the pannels and force them to take a nice curve.

Hay, Scott I will be down your way the last week of March. We rented a beach house. I will be bringing down the GF16 to go sound side fishing.

Might stop by and take a peek at the WNW.

I have a little experience with a steam box. You can make one out of PVC Pipe. Make sure your rail can fit in the pipe. I put a tea pot on a camping stove and piped the steam to the PVC with a hose like a off of a shop vac. I got some fitting to connect to the PVC. On the open end, I stuffed a shop ...

If you want to build models of big boats you may be out of luck, but for small to medium boats you will find some with plans. I have one by Monk that has around 12 boat plans in it from small to 18...

My example was for a resin such as West system epoxy, which you mix as a 5:1 Vol:vol ratio. System three is 2:1 vol:vol...

I would go with the fl12. It is made to row and can be used with a trolling motor just fine. Will be the most stable platform because it is flat, but is still a small boat.
