I would use some milled glass fibers mixed into the epoxy and then fair it out if needed

A easy way to get the epoxy to create a good fillet is putting in a baggy and clipping off a corner. Then use a large popsicle stick to get the fillet in the right shape.

Jason if you look at the plan marked B96/5 you will find it

The side butt block is 293x331-279. right next to the 293 length is says Bow Side and below that is says Bottom

9mm will be fine, I asked the same quetion a year ago
