Yes, I'm famililar with the micro adjustment tool:) Maybe put some nails in the joints, every foot or so to insure the gap.

1/8" is nothing. Heck, gaps of 3/8" are "good 'nuff". You'll see when you start assembling the panels with zip ties. The ply has it's own mind and will find it's own fair shape with you providing "encouragement" and the odd trim. It's something of an organic process and...

Maybe stick some nails or popsicle sticks in between the panels in the tight places along the panel seams to ensure a gap all along the way. We try to avoid wood on wood there because folks say it causes "hard spots". It's easy enough to ease in some kind of spacer here and there, then tig...

I've had very good luck with Kombi putty. Put a dab on with your finger, smooth it with putty knife, and sand it 10 minutes later. Sands very easily. It's reddish colored so I always put a bit of primer over treated areas.
