Re: HB 18

I have an HB28 about 25% complete. It was relegated to a back burner by the vagaries of life, and stored. I am picking it up again and checked into the forum to see what kind of HB18 happenings might be going on and found your post, a year old. Did you decide to build one?

More photos on web site

I have a few new photos at: http://elgrancuervo.net

Also, I uploaded a photo to my bateau2.com gallery that was already there under a different name. Is there a way to delete one of them?

When you say the boat has to be flipped twice do you mean once the hull is constructed to do the bottom and then back over to finish the inside. Yes, exactly. Once the basic hull is together, it's flipped and glassed, presumably painted. Then, it has to be turned back over to finish the superstruct...

Another thing to keep in mind is that the building procedure calls for this boat to get flipped twice during construction. This is very much on my own mind as I approach that stage on my HB18!

OK Tony, it should work now. Thanks for the heads up.

Dan
Each picture is a link to a page that, when clicked, opens a bigger picture. I just checked it and think it's OK. The pictures open in a new window, so you may need to tell you popup blocker they are OK.

I have an HB18 going - I am far enough along to make a prediction for turnover to happen in the spring. I hope it's early spring, say March. I will definitely be documenting the flip. I am still mulling over the details of how that will be accomplished, but I am sure it won't be too big a deal. Ther...

Finally, I have gotten around to an HB 18 update of my website at: http://elgrancuervo.net/index.html There are several photos of construction and some information regarding each one. I seem to spend available time on the boat itself, but finally got this going. The boat is somewhat further along th...
