Re: XF 20 Build
Looking great! I thought you were going to sell it? Still want to hook up one day with my OD18 and follow you out. Love the Chaz but it's been mean to me... I entertained the idea of selling it but after a few yahoos completely wasted my time and wanted to offer me chump change on it i decided to k...

Re: XF 20 Build
It's been a while since visiting the forum. The paint decided to fail over the past few years, I finally got all of it off the boat and recoated it with system three pennant primer and did a quick redo job with the kiwi grip. I haven't decided on what paint to go with yet but I've been running it li...

Re: Time To Repaint My XF20 Any Suggestions?
EMC/Quantum Seems a little pricey and says to spray it only or it needs a clear coat on top? Did you spray or roll and tip Jaysen? After pressure washing some more, the kiwigrip non skid is only coming up where i overlapped the topcoat paint... So I might stick with it for the non skid. I'll check i...

Re: Paint Falling Off XF20 System Three Primer Totalboat Topside Paint
I’m also not a fan of mineral spirits for cleaning paint brushes. After my first paint debacle, I throw the brush away after each coat. Yikes. I've been cleaning my brushes and thinning with mineral spirits, as directed by Jamestown Distributors with their TotalBoat topside paint. They now tell you...

Time To Repaint My XF20 Any Suggestions?
I just pressure washed the entire topcoat of totalboat topside paint off my xf20. After fighting the peeling and poorly adhering paint since day one it's finally time to take it down to the primer and repaint it and the non skid. The boat is primered in system three silver tip and it is still rock s...

Re: XF 20 engine choice
My Mercury 60 Sea Pro Big Tiller does great on mine. I wouldn't want anything heavier but my seapro is the same weight and gearcase as the 90 and 115's. I get about 27mph fully loaded.

Re: XF 20 Build
It's been a while since i visited the forum. I've had the boat on the water for about a year now. I had a pretty slow guide season this winter due to everything going on but Had a ton of time on the water. I'm finally getting comfortable with the boat. I made a few upgrades and added power trim and ...

Re: I need Propeller and or engine help
i'm running a 3 blade 15p ss and getting 5k on my 60 command thrust, on my xf20. i had a 4 blade cupped powertech 15p and was only getting 4500. i think i need a 12p 4 blade ss to get where i need to be. i tried an aluminum 4 blade in the same pitch and lost 500 rpms. i've been on the prop hunt for ...

Re: XF 20 Build
A little update on the "Miss Lilly", after taking the last few months off, I finally got the prop situation sorted out to where im happy with the performance. I probably tried 6 different ones before getting some the performance I was expecting. I went through every 3 and 4 blade prop i co...
