Re: FS 17 IN HOMESTEAD PICTURES

Thanks Lower I am getting back into things very slowly. Yesterday I finished setting up the chase tubes for the control cables, steering and helms. My neighbor helped me drill several holes in the stringers and the cross pieces for electrical chase tubes. I now have to clean all the dust and start c...

Re: FS 17 IN HOMESTEAD PICTURES

Thanks larry Glad to see that you still have an interest of what us novice builders are doing. Caught any gators lately. I bet you miss Miami. I always sand between coats of epoxy if its been sitting for more than 24 hours. Hope this is right. So for the top of the cleats attach to the stringer I wi...

Re: FS 17 IN HOMESTEAD PICTURES

Thanks all for the timely and prompt input in helping me resolving this problem. As for the motor well inside, I am considering turning the port compartment into a live...

Re: FS 17 IN HOMESTEAD PICTURES

Is it necessary to glass the motor well bulk heads on the FS17 and any other bulk heads? Joel, some builders have answered this question already, The corners are all taped with 6" tape. However I feel very uneasy about just epoxying the rest of the bulk head since this is the one spot that wate...
