Re: FS 14 has got to go

Brian, I have complete faith in your ability. You will do an excellent job finishing her. Daniel, sorry, but it did work out. You're doing one hell of a job on your build, keep it up. Ks8, I ain't going anyplace, I'll remain in the background for a while. This forum has become one of my favorite pla...

Re: FS 14 has got to go

He's picking it up Saturday. It was tough but I feel that it's going to a good home. The one thing that really upsets me is the simple fact that this group has got to be one of the best on the internet. It makes no difference what your question is it'll get answered and not in a smart ass way, if yo...

FS 14 has got to go

Fellow boat builders. I've tried but building boats is not for me, my epoxy allergy will not allow it. I'm probably over half done but completing it is not an option. This was to be my learning boat so that I could move onto something bigger, like the HM-19. Well I can't do that so I bought a C Dory...

Murray, I had the same concerns prior to installation of my drains under the seat of my FS-14. So, I took a piece of pvc pipe that I had cut in half and glued it to a 2 X 4 with E-Z Fillet. After it set up I took a hammer to it and it's still there. I added a piece of tape over mine too. I honestly ...

Ain't no different than any other woodworking situation. The first piece is a pattern for any like pieces. I stacked my side pieces and cut them at the same time.

That is a good looking little boat, right cute. I was going to suggest onlineoutboards.com too. I found the website some time ago and was wondering if anyone had bought anything from them. Their prices sounded just a little to good to be true. Anyone else out there had any experience with them? don

I'm a long way from a pro but it looks good from here. I'm limping along with my first and, due to a severe epoxy allergy, probably my last build. I really wanted to build the new tug!

Maybe we'll get a chance to check out each other's build someday
