Re: Webbcraft 22' Boat rebuild

If it was me, I'd go outboard on a bracket too. You gain cockpit space as well.

Re: OB15 in Central NC

Thanks Jeff and Eric. I spent the day today wrapping up the last project of clearing space for the strongback. Will hopefully get it put together tomorrow.

OB15 in Central NC

Strong back and frames material are procured. Boat will be standard sheer with a center console and remote steering. Built for use in the Back and Core Sounds, as well as inland lakes (primarily Jordan). I’ll be building with the optional 1/4” hull panels and a doubled 3/4” transom. I’m currently th...

Re: OB15 (LS)

Overthinking? Ha I might have you beat.

I joined these boards over 8 years ago. I purchased my first set of plans (FS14) more than 5 years ago.

Jacques,

Is the last 63.125" of the keel parallel with the baseline?

Re: High Tide 1503 Limber hole / foam fill ???

Stick with the plans. Tom Tom, it's a rebuild. As far as the foam, I'd seal the compartments and foam with closed-cell foam like sold at Boat Builder Central . No limber holes. In the catastrophic event that a compartment was compromised, the foam takes up the available space and retains the buoyan...
