foam understringers/Phantom 15

What kind of foam (i.e. how dense/hard/deformable) do I use between the stringers and the bottom of the boat?

The best thing to use is the foam sold here under Boat Building Supplies. It is Coast Guard approved and is about 2lbs per sq. ft.
