Hey all,
Well after a long break I'm finally back on my 23 C-Hawk rebuild have plans for a Keys trip in May/June with rig!! I have two poly tanks one 54 gal for under sole and one 31 gal for under casting deck. I got them at the boat salvage in Ft. Pierce (love that place) at the time they did not have an aluminum one that would fit my boat. Where should I install the on/off valve before filter or after, and should there be two filters or one? This will feed a 200 hp Ocean Pro Evinrude , what do ya'll think? thanks
Don

Re: fuel tanks
Valve goes before the filters, at the tank if possible. With 2 tanks, I would use 2 filters. Many just use 1 though.

Probably your Evinrude has it's own filter water separator (please check I'm not sure) in that case I think one external filter/separator should do

Re: fuel tanks
I have a filter for each tank, its comforting to be able to just switch a valve over to a fresh filer if I ever encounter a problem
Re: fuel tanks
Thanks for the replies, I was going to go with the two filter system just wanted some advice from the MASTERS on the best way to install
