Today, all I did was paint some of the trim boards for the settee. Need another coat, then the benchtop edges get paint.

I also ordered a wheel scale to weigh the boat.

I worked at the church for a couple hours as well.

Lotsa fun on the Skoota.

Wiring inside the cabin is almost completed.

The weight concerns have me stopping any further ac electrical. I have one plug and one for water heater and then the inverter/charger.

I did something pretty fun today.

After varnish disasters last week. Trying it again with drier boards and lots more heat.

Hard to believe I spent all day on that. But it had to be cut for the cooktop and had to be screwed from underneath which was not easy. Then you can't see them, but I had to install cleats for the wood top to screw to on the front and the guts for the drawer slides went in.

It was a decent day about 5.5 hours of work.

Other works getting done..

Fire extinguishers purchased.

Remodeling the heating system fans. I had installed the defroster in the cabin and it is just too loud; so gonna change the fan on it.

Now that the cabinet top is off the table; I'm going to shift gears inside to painting the windshield gray. And recutting the polycarbonates to fit inside and not outside the frame.

Miscellaneous wiring work inside.

Caulked the toilet. Yay!

Today I found my landings to get into the hulls. Ray or Scott used them for bookends and I totally forgot they were done. Can't install them until it hits 50F here.

Ray's cancer is inoperable. He is at home hospice. Lost a lot of weight. Say a prayer for him.

I liked the look of that counter top before it was sealed but it looks even better now!

fallguy looks good. Didn't realize you were putting in an inverter/charger, smart move.

congratulations you are doing a great job, as far as health is concerned I am very sorry, you need to rest.
I also think I have to do the perfect jobs but it takes too long, so I decided to leave something out.
I also advise you to go straight to the end
