Right now I have a livewell that is the typical white plastic with a fill and drain. I want to :
1. remove the fiberglass lid
2. Paint the inside of the white plastic live well light blue
3. add a blue led light
4. replace the lid with a custom acrylic lid with a seal.
Problem. I am having a hard time finding the proper paint. I have been told to look at the paints they use on fish ponds as to not kill my bait with toxins. Anyone upgrade their box? any ideas?

Welcome to the forum!
The white liner will turn blue when you add the blue LED lights.
This is my live well I built for my boat. I use a epoxy tint and 4 oz glass to make it light blue. I tried just tinting the epoxy and rolling it on but got a lot better results when I rolled it on the fiberglass. I also am using blue LED lights from :https://www.oznium.com/
Easy to use, prewired and very bright.

Nice work. It looks great! I came across this and I think I'm going to try it and see what happens. If its a fail, then I'll just go blue light, but I wanted to have the live well blue in daylight as well.
