I think I have 12' or 13' control cables on my J14. The wiring harness with the motor has at least 4 extra feet of harness available and runs the same route as the control cables. Everybody's set up is different so this is a ballpark idea of what you have to work with.

The battery cable supplied is a little shorter than what I would like. I'm using a LiFe battery that weighs all of 2 pounds so not a weight and balance problem. It starts the motor great. My electronics suite consists of a tachometer. Plenty of juice to run everything :D

I’m going to need like a 22’ length, so betting I’ll have to buy a harness on my own for that. Thats bound to be more length than a standard harness would come at.

The fact that the Suzuki comes with the control box makes for a pretty good savings over the Tohatsu where you have to buy it separately, it seems.
