Yes, the Bateau PH series (Phantom series) would be the most similar to a production bass boat. The PH series is designed for shallow water fishing, much like traditional bass boats. One of the options Jacque did with one of his later designs was the General Purpose 21 Base Boat Plans. One configuration is a bass boat.

Eric thanks, forgot about the GF21 Bass Boat design; it is a newer design but with a larger 150-175HP motor would perform better than the PH18-PH22.
