TommyD as a suggestion when you are done with your decks use 4oz woven fiberglass cloth to cover them for protection. You will never see the cloth. You will still need to protect the epoxy from the sun. I highly recommend Interlux Perfection Varnish as it only has to be replaced every 7 or so years. Or you can just go with the Interlux.

Should I cheat my gas tank to passenger side. It will weight about 50lbs full and I am about 50lbs heavier than my passenger??

Gas tanks get lighter as you run through the day. Not a good trim mechanism. If you want to offset human weight, use actual weights on a dimensionally accurate holder (like in a gym). That will let you change the static trim if human weights change in the future.
You should consider trim tabs for active adjustment underway as well. What I’m suggesting only addresses a fixed offset.
Lastly… not sure I would make a planned offset for humanity. 50lbs isn’t that big a variance at planing speed in my experience. If you find you need to adjust, you can easily add ballast later (contractor bag with Portland cement worked surprisingly well on one hull).

Thanks Jayden, makes sense!
Re: RB16 new build KY 1st timer
After several trial and errors I got some grooves cut in the top! On one side at least. First time using a router.
Re: RB16 new build KY 1st timer
Looks like you got the hang of it!
I assume you are going to fill in those grooves, what are you going to use? If you need to mask off the grooves to do the filling, it might have been easier to place the masking tape before the grooves are routed, and rout through the tape. Great job on your first attempt!

Thanks Hank. Boatlife caulk is what I settled on but open to suggestions. It’s sandable after application. I tried taping before routing the grooves but the tape kept peeling up and gumming up the path of router . As for the grooves my plan is to lightly sand and then epoxy clear coat then caulk.
Re: RB16 new build KY 1st timer
Oh, taping the groove after cutting wasn’t so bad kind of relaxing for me for some reason.
