I will use a thin plywood dam with packing tape to sharpen the transom and chines. I appreciate the help.

I made a jig that I clamped to the open side of transom a couple boards and some clamps for pressure. I also squared off the top of my transom for aesthetics. Make sure to glass wrap the transom top. I recommend glass wrapping the inside laminates and outside laminates for upright builds and the inside laminates for upside down work. If you don’t wrap; it’ll end check and open on you.

On my phantom build I routed the top edge of the transom and completely wrapped glass over the top edge. I will do the same on this transom. I agree it prevents the core from potentially opening up.

The ply for the full transom will overlap the upper edge of the transom now I am thinking of this. I will wrap over the glass over the ply/transom joint and tab to the transom about 6 inches down.

I am working on glassing the bottom and side panels. I decided to lay the glass on like shingles with overlaps in order to work with smaller sections of glass. It is less stressful working with smaller sections and I can take my time.

Not my approach, but I get it. Work looks real good.

I roll the glass off a tube and always have a helper and go nuts.

Always more than one way to skin a cat. It would appear your way is working just fine for you. If you had help you could do it other ways.

I did the bottom of mine that way, after running into heat issues glassing outside under a tarp. I tried to line up the overlaps with the frames, as the highest stresses on a fixed panel are near a frame or stringer.
