Ok this was my first seam ever using FG tape. I pre coated the panel poured a litle expoxy on applied the tape and rolled, used a Squeegee, rolled, used a Squeegee, used a Squeegee, rolled, used a Squeegee, it took forever to get all the excess expoy to come though the tape and out.

This was my second seam on the other side of the bottom panel. I pre coated squeegee the excess off then layed on the tape pour a little expoxy over the top and rolled, used a Squeegee once. I then squeegee the tape until I could not see any nore excess expoy coming out. This was much easier. I hope the second side was done right, I am not sure how much expoxy to squeegee off, it looks to me as if I have no expoxy left on the tape.

Another shot of the second side.

Thanks,

I will start putting her together next week after I return from the beach this weekend. This will be my wifes skiff and she wants it done bad so when I am not at the beach on our other boat she can fish, so the pressure is on to finish the skiff and have it ready next spring for her. The skiff is coming along and I thank each of you for the assistance you are giving me. With that assistancae I am having no troubles with the boat but , anyone have any ideas on how so slow down your wifes wihes.

On my 21' offshore boat I noticed the deck has a diamond imprint in the surface. How can I do that on my deck?
