The forum upgrade is complete. It was very uneventful. Please post issues in this thread.

Due to a high level of "bad actor" traffic on the community site Jaysen is implementing a forced verification to confirm that you are a human. This is a PITA and he hates it too. The 3.2 seconds it takes for the one time you have to do it every couple hours is much preferable to the hours we are losing to morons clogging the CPU on the servers. Jaysen is still looking to solve this a bit less intrusively and without cost to BBC. Hopefully the magic solution will appear out of thin air soon. Jaysen is already annoyed.

How to post a picture in a message.

Post by jacquesmm »

To insert a picture in a message is a two step process.
The first step is to upload the picture somewhere on the internet. For example, in our gallery.
Go to Builder Galleries (link above) and upload a picture.
See instructions here:
http://gallery.bateau2.com/faq.php
You can also upload your picture to any other web site like Yahoo, Photobucket etc,:
http://familyinternet.about.com/od/shar ... photos.htm

Once your picture is on the internet, open it in your browser. Place your mouse pointer over the picture and right click.
A small window will popup, select "properties" at the bottom.
A new window will open. Highlight and copy the "location" or "image address".
Paste that location in your message.
It should look like this:
http://gallery.bateau2.com/albums/userp ... shed_1.JPG

Highlight that line and click on the little box above your message, the one that says Img.

Click on submit and you should see your picture in your message.
