For the past 8 years I have served as the auctioneer for the annual Aquaculture meeting which raises funds for the National Aquaculture Association, and.have donated a fishing trip on Clara each year. For some unknown reason it has turned into a top seller! Today I took Elizabeth and Dave from Arizona out for an $1800 half-day trip. Elizabeth is a top grade scientist working for a company that makes vaccines for agricultural animals and Dave is a retired fraud investigator for the FBI. They both caught fish, not a lot, but Clara was her usual self.

With no slight to Clara at all I am pretty darn sure it is not the boat that makes the trip but rather the man running it. 8)

Awesome cape man!
There are only two seasons in Vermont: boating season, and boat-building season.

The fishing was slow to horrible but the company was spot on. We killed a bottle of good Venezuela rum and solved all the world's problems.
