From Minneapolis we went south to La Crosse and then north east to Kronenwetter, WI to stay with friends for 3 nights, then up to Escanaba, MI for a night in a hotel built in 1869 on the shore of Lake Michigan. From there we drove up to Marquette on the shore of Superior and have 4 nights in a cabin near Curtis, MI that will allow us to do day trips from here in the Upper Peninsula. Broke 21,000 miles on the way! Going to zig zag our way east to the Atlantic and are still trying to decide the southern route home to Florida. Fishing in Key West October 3 and 4, home on the 5th.
