Good deal on the trailer. I have one that looks just like it. I have to narrow my axle a bit for my gate though.

Thanks Uncle D!!
The trailer was for a Basscat boat, the coupler had been replaced, the tounge shortened and the winch stand was modified. I am going to put a folding coupler on it and build a new winch stand.

It's looking good! I bet it feels good to get back to working on it after a couple years hiatus. I'll be following your build closely as this is one of the plans I'm looking at building.

Typically the biax tape is for structural elements - chines, keel, frames. The woven tape is usually used topsides, cabins, consoles, seatboxes...

That's funny. If I were you, that'd lead me to some interesting boat names:
inamorata
doxy
Mistress
Paramour
cocotte
tart

note - I'm just having fun, this is certainly not meant to offend.

Wade that doesn't offend me at all. Actually gives me some great ideas: Finally FREE, URalimony, She Got the House, Bankrupt, Freeatlast, Current Wife.....Ha!!
Now that's some funny stuff right there!

Nice find on the Trailer.

I've got the reverse chine the shape I like and I think I just need to mix up one more batch of QuickFair and the bottom will be ready for its first coat of primer.
