Yes I have continued. I'm a boat captain and took a job running a 60ft G&S custom sport boat based out of Orange Beach, Al. I took the job back in August and had to leave the boat behind in Austin. My friends still rent the house and I was able to keep it there and hopefully get something done. Well I had some time off this month and I came back to Austin to do a power session on it.

First I shaved the boat down while it was still upsid down. 3inches in the back going to 0inches in the bow using measurements and eyeballing. I like the look and did that off the straight sheer cuts. Then the rubrail came next, then the flip and so on. Besides cutting it down a little bit, I installed more frames in the sole. Did it because I didn't know what that foam would do and i didn't want any soft spots. I know now that I really didn't need to do that...oh well. I also made the gunnels 10inches rather than 8inches. I ran out of foam and had to return to Orange Beach. I'll be able to finish it on my next break in a few months. Till then here are a few pics. Ones at the end are the boat dry fitted to see what it will look like.

Nice work. I'd guess your going with a console instead of a tiller.
