PNW CX 25 scaled up
Re: PNW CX 25
So it begins to take shape. I'm sure that adjustment will be made to fine tune the furring strips - just not sure how to do the bow yet.

After seeing all the furring strips I went back to the start of your thread to make sure you are building the hull out of foam. This will make the build even better to watch Are you planning on glassing the inside of the foam before hanging it or waiting till after the flip?
Re: PNW CX 25
it's amazing the things one tries to think of when building, glassing the inside of the foam before mounting did not occur to me. I'll research it, thanks
Re: PNW CX 25
More furring strips, both sides done now. Purchased over 100 3/4" x 8' of which 40% where twisted so bad that they will be used for fire starter this winter. It's really starting to look Huge ( thinking about all that sanding surface ).

All the strips are so the foam wont sag between the molds until you get them glassed up?
Re: PNW CX 25
I believe so, although divinycelll H 80 seems sturdy enough.

Well better safe than sorry, awesome project now that I know what you are doing

PNW CX 25, We are really going to enjoy watching you build the CX25 with H80 Divinycell!! Great stuff!! Jeff
Re: PNW CX 25
Thanks guys,
Also in addition to not sagging they give a place which to attach screws from the underside ( holds the H80 in place). I spent most of today predrilling holes, because the sheet rock screws are just large enough to split the furring strips. Sorry no pictures.
