Just heard the County Judge of Nueces County on TV. He said Port Aransas was the worst hit of anything in the county. He was helping the Mayor of Port Aransas to get back to Port Aransas. I think it will be a miracle if the Boat Show goes on. We have reservations at Gulf Waters RV Resort. There's probably not much of it left.

I am in contact with one of the organizers, Frank Coletta but he has still not returned to evaluate the damage.

I just saw pictures of the Port Aransas marina. There are damaged docks and broken pilings several sunken boats and one collapsed building.
A mobile home park 100% destroyed, streets flooded with cars overturned.

No news from the museum where they were building a nice schooner in ply-epoxy.

Jacques, yes, spoke with Sandra/Chuck and the damage in Port A that they had been made aware of was really bad. He said he would get back to me by mid-week next week. Really bad for coastal Texas!! Jeff

There is a video on Fox News with an interview of the Mayor of Port Aransas. I can't figure out how to link it.

The heavy rains are just getting started according to the weather station. We've got some low areas in Houston with 12+ feet of water accumulated so far. Its been raining for 6 hours.
