Thanks cape man, Jeff, Barra Man, and Fuzz.
Life's full at the moment with little time for boat stuff.
Going back onto Great Sandy in a day or two for a much-needed Christmas break.
Pic below is of our last overnight anchorage before we came back in over the Noosa Rive Bar. It's the Double Island Point Lagoon, some 35 nautical miles north of the Noos River.
Seasons greetings all.

Living the dream! Looks like a very wonderful place.
"that it isn't just an ordinary sort of boat. Sometimes it's a Boat, and sometimes it's more of an Accident. It all depends." "Depends on what?" "On whether I'm on the top of it or underneath it."

Have been doing maintenance work on Skinnydip this past week. The prop shaft cutlass bearing was worn and needed to be replaced. Had to remove the rudder and prop shaft assemblies to install the new cutlass bearing then reassemble. Job done.
Starting to prepare Great Sandy for a long northern cruise this year - destination Lizard Island, Far North Queensland.

Glad to see a post from you. Is this the winter cruise prep and plan or an additional trip for excitement?
