Good job, glad your finger is healing up enough for you to get back to your build. Before you know it, you'll catch up and pass me.

Wow, I can tell I am slowing down. My thread fell to the second page.

Buddy of mine let me use one of his bullet heaters. Finally got the shop warm enough to get the final coat of epoxy graphite down. Thinking I might just lightly sand the graphite once it is cured as I like the flat mottled look.

Tomorrow should be able to ease the bottom edge of the rub rail, fillet a cove on the underside of rub rail and fill in the weave on bow and transom with quick fair. Looking forward to getting the sides painted to finally see the color and flip her back over. Maybe by next weekend????

That's the way, keep at it, like a pig going through a python. :D

A little at a time. Making better progress than I would have thought. First pass at fairing the sides pretty much did the trick. All i had to do was sand and spot fair and fair the cove under the rub rail. Tonight sanded and hit just a few areas. I should be able to get a coat of primer on the morning before I head off to job site and another in the evening. Might actually get some color on this weekend!

Good luck man! I'm going to start fairing this weekend and hope to have some color on her by the new year.

1st coat of S3 primer. My fairing job looks pretty good. There are several tiny pits and one light sanding gouge, but other than that, looks real good. When looking down the sides with light behind, you can see some "wave", but I am not going to mess with that. I think another coat or two will do it. I am not messing with the light sanding mark, that will just be a birthmark.

Yeah man. Looking good. I hope to have mine at that point in two weeks. I don't go back to work until the 3rd and I plan to take advantage of my time off and the warmer weather. What all do you have left to do on the inside of the hull?

Jeff,
I'll post a lot over the next few weeks.
