Hello all
As preparation for my first serious boat built (LB22 Nina is the plan) is am building a single seater double paddle canoe.
Used the free plans for the 14" Canoe from Bateau and modified the plans slightly.
Since I am rather heavy I increased the size and made the design front/back non-symmetrical, hoping to improve on load capacity and stability in the water. I will not be using the canoe in wild-water as well. Added some (floating) compartments.

Thanks for the complement Jeff !
I learned a lot already.
Had some serious problem completing the bow, which is still crooked and requires additional epoxy and grinding to correct. I choose to leave the bow section and last 300 mm of longitudinal fillets on assembly and since the cutting of the panels was not that "dimensional correct" (read just bad work) i had problems getting it somehow straight. But the wonders of epoxy filleting will compensate in the end.
