Got the hull flipped and was able to put two coats of primer on the outside of the hull. I used the System Three Pennant Primer (Formerly known as Yacht Primer). I really do like this product. It rolls on really nicely. I didn't even need to tip it, any bubbles that formed quickly popped and the primer laid down beautifully!
I also got a coat on the tops of my hatches.
Next step is some final sanding before paint.

I'd like to try that primer sometime.

Sure looks nice. The round chine...did you tell me that for more stealth fishing?

Strictly aesthetics for me. It is supposed to reduce "hull slap" when poling. However, because these boats are so light I don't think it makes a big difference.

Hey everyone,

Been a little while since my last post. The hull is finally painted. I used Quantum 99 Ice Blue. Definitely had a lot of time sanding and fairing in order to get it as smooth as possible. Really happy with the paint job.
Next step is letting it sit for 7 days before I flip it over. (This is the recommendation of EMC Paint). Once flipped I can finish priming the interior and move on to paint and non-skid.
In case anyone is wondering, I had to block up the hull in order for the sheer line to clear the fender wells of the trailer. Once flipped she will sit back on the bunks.

The lighting in the warehouse doesn't display it well, but it looks really shiny, nice job!
