Primary Frames glassed in on the sides. Leaving the middle open until I cut chase tubes. Frame A is a bit out of spec but I can fix it with cleats. Also needing to remake frame c and get that in. I am raising the sole a bit so will be putting in kleats prior to cutting the sole out.

Still plugging away, I did a horrible glass job on the c frame and spent 4 days fixing it but learned a lesson and moving on to the middle sections. Cutting kleats from 2x4s and will have to fill knots and such but should be drilling chases this weekend

Frames glassed all the way. I did the fillets in two steps this time and was way cleaner, this is because I had large gaps. But got everything in place and getting set to clean things up and paint the bildge. We are getting there

How many layers of tape did you put on each side of each stringer?
I messed up and only did one layer when I was supposed to do two, my only big regret so far with my FS17.

So good catch narfi....here is the solution with all the glass we ll be adding in. Using 14" tape because I have it and it overlaps the 6 in well. Basically eliminates the need to epoxy coat the stringers they will be fully glassed. Thanks for the good eye

Back at it finally. Started tanning in the stringers with the second layer of glass I had forgotten. Probably a few days of this to get the joints clean and taped up.
