Lowering the pitch will give you better performance throughout. If you are only turning 5200 at full throttle the engine is working too hard to turn the prop. You'll get a better hole shot and probably match or exceed your current top speed with the extra rpm's at the top as the Yamaha 4 strokes don't hit their rated hp until 5800 according to my dealer.
