I'd want some flow thru the cabin. Best way would be a hatch forward and air scoop.

Otherwise you could double anchor the stern to the wind and hope for some breezes.

I think that as designed, the tube for the retractable bowsprit is supposed to serve as a vent at anchor, but it is pretty small. I don't think Bogie's boat has that tube due to the junk rig.

I’m waiting on my dorade vent to be delivered. It will be installed facing forward just in front of the mast partner

Hello everyone,
Just installed my Sea Dog 3” scoop vent. Decided not to ad the dorade box because it’s just too bulky for a boat this size- This vent is made of soft pvc - you can step on it and it will go right back into shape. The vent can also rotate 360 degrees and has a cover that can be screwed over the opening when not in use

Nice!

You’ll love that with the big screen in the washboards. Even with the solid boards it will make the cabin less stuffy.

When are you heading out again?

Hi Jaysen!
Thanks!
Maybe next week. Tried to go everyday this week but we’ve been having some scattered showers and T-storms
