good morning All.
I stumbled back on this site thinking about building a houseboat, and wanted to update on my modified D15 build from 2018. The Peg Leg
It turned out great! We've used it tons, and always get comments at the ramp.
It's solid as a rock and the ride is way better than I was expecting, especially in a chop, even with the mods I made. It's a tad squirrely at full speed with a 25 yammie and a guy sitting in the bow seat, but not excessively so. With just 1 guy it tops 30mph, high 20's with 2 fellas. It's mostly dry depending on wind direction, but I wish I had extended the spray rails full length. I have added a bow mounted trolling motor and depth finder. I'm very pleased with the outcome.
Cheers!
Ken
