Re: Bama Build D15
well, I got off on the wrong foot when I disregarded everyones advise and used exterior plywood for the sides......and also went to 3/8" instead of 1/4....and then decided to use 3/4 marine on the bottom for oyster shell interactions.
I unknowingly make a tragic error by taking the shipyard guys advice that the epoxy was 3:1 instead of reading the directions. it was 2:1, and the result was that the boat joint separated when I bent it up for the lacing. This was my attempt to fixing in place. Little did I realize that I would be fighting that decision for the rest of the build.

Re: Bama Build D15
I should have re-cut, but I would have lost interest in the build by going backwards, so I plowed ahead.

glued and taped. one side sheared up pretty as you please, the other side looks like a hunchback. All the pics from now on will be portside.

I missed the nesting and shorted the front piece. used 3/4" scrap for buttblock, and then realized there were places for water to pool, so ended up epoxing the whole thing. That locker is stout!
