I worked on a schooner, mostly out of Seward and Kasilof, also named "Chesapeake", but she was white green, and didn't have the house on the back. Wonder if it's the same boat. Was owned by Cook Inlet Processing then; '98 or so. Also worked on "Nunavak". Big black and white scow, and we used to frequent Homer occasionally. Not sure if she is still around or not. I hope so...

Good stuff, Fuzz! Thanks for the pics!

Not really; there's no shortage of them here.

Edit to add; one of my favorite stories from my dad was how he was watching an eagle flying along, being harassed from above by a (fatally, as it turned out) bold seagull. Finally the eagle had enough of this, and when the seagull got a little too close,it suddenly went inverted and grabbed the seagull in its talons. Then it landed on a piling, where it consumed its former tormentor. I wish they'd had cell phone cameras in those days.

How much meat is in one of those?

I’m also wondering how many neighbors would notice a couple go missing…
My already completed 'Lil Bit'. A Martens Goosen V12 set up to sail me to the fishing holes.
Currently working on making a Helms 24 our coastal cruiser.
