wow I'm amazed at how high you can run the motor. You must be about 2 inches above the trim plate. Makes me think I should move up one more hole. I'm about 1/2 inch above.
thanks for the video.

Those are some great photos. Thanks for posting them.
Quick question, how skinny will it run? And how stable does it feel?

Re: LM18 in Perry, GA
Thanks... Ive never felt unstable. When fishing i will routinely walk the gunnels to get around my "crew" for whatever reason. I will say hitting a chop from the side will scare while running will scare you a little but Id assume it would be that way on any flat bottomed boat. I posted the link for a video a few months ago I think on my thread running wide open with the jackplate all the way up. If im not mistaken the travel is 6" so that would put the cavitation plate 6" above the bottom of the boat. I havent measured to see what that leaves but it isnt much and this is without the tunnel option. Ive used it alot and am learning alot about fishing in the salt. Only getting to go a few times a year keeps the learning curve steep but im climbing it.

Looks like you’re getting some good use out of her and you have the salt water fishing DOWN. My FS19 is finally getting some locomotion. She’s down your way right now at The Sports Center. I hope to pick her up next week.

Re: LM18 in Perry, GA
Thanks Ill have to ride by there and see if I can see her behind the fence. How nerve racking was it to do all that work and drop it off somewhere for them to finish it off? Id imagine you gave a very specific set of instructions as to where chase tubes, etc. were. Also you put some type off sensor that if a drill bit or hole saw touched the boat a siren would go off. What motor did you decide to go with?

A 90 Suzuki, been trying to get one for 2 months. Finally available. I picked her up Tuesday. I’m posting some picks with motor on my thread.
