It can be done easily with electric drive by putting an actuator inside, but ... I like it more like that.

Nice. I ordered a manual lift aluminum. Maybe I will change it someday to the electric and wood idea. I like it better for when I am old.

Very inspirational, Sorin! I already have plans at home. I'll start in the spring :-)
Ventilation through the roof cavity is a good idea.

Sorin, you've made a lot of changes in the project. Did you count on a change in weight and draft in advance? Do you have the sole in cocpit higher?
I see wider bench - for how many people do you intend?
Will the cockpit drainage be to the sides according to the project?

No ... I didn't make many changes, just a few :)
- what is very important is that I respected 100% the structure of the project.
I only made the changes above after informing Jacques.
- for such a large boat there were only 2 people inside, at the table. The aisle was too big, 60 cm - bigger than an airplane or bus. I took 18 cm from the aisle and increased the benches, including the table, so that now 4 people can sit at the table and when the table goes down and turns into a bed, 2 more people can sleep.
- I extended the cabin with another frame
These are the 2 big, visible changes.
All these changes ... are approx. 60Kg extra.
As extra equipment, only the refrigerator and the bathroom sink weigh about 20 kg.
I designed the boat for 4 adults and 2 children, with OPTIMAL CONFORT for a 7-day trip: cold and hot water, heating, air conditioning, etc., all about 40 kg.
Total ... no more than 120Kg, 1 inch lower with 6-8% more gas with a 60hp engine, but for the comfort of 2 families a week ... I think it's worth it.
And ... I still have surprises :)
