They are too big ... I have to reduce them.

Sorin, use the photo gallery here. I thought I put up a tutorial but I can't find it on the forum. I'll look on my system at home tonight and see if i can locate my text. If not it will be friday (gmt-4) before it is available here.
My already completed 'Lil Bit'. A Martens Goosen V12 set up to sail me to the fishing holes.
Currently working on making a Helms 24 our coastal cruiser.

4.8mb on an image sounds like you all are using bursts, "live image", or native formats. You should upload the images a JPEG with mid level compression as that will get you reasonable size and quality. iPhone should do that for you when you select the image to upload (select "medium" when it asks you what size). Android... I don't use one so I can't help there
