OC17 nesting layout

Post by kalushapes »

Hi, I just purchased plans for the OC17 outboard skiff. I plan on doing an open bow / center consol and I'm wondering if there is a different nesting layout for the framing, specifically sections C and D since this build won't require the covored bow / windshield. Thanks

No other nesting drawing, sorry.
I always draw the nesting for a simple standard version but it should not be too difficult to adapt it to different frames or another size of plywood sheets.

When building mine I used some slightly cut down frames for planking. You can also use a cheaper plywood and put it in the wood burner later. I rearranged the nesting quite a bit but there were a few gotchas where I realised that there was a reason for the designers decisions.
