I've gotten to the point in my boat build where I have the bottom hull panels spliced together and I am placing them on the frame. One issue I am having is that the bottom panels don't seem to be lining up correctly. I built my hull jig with the Keel section on the frame. I've checked the size of measurements of the keel section on each frame and it is correct. I've checked and measured the hull panel sections and they look correct, but when I place them on the frame I can't get the bottom panel to line up with the center line of the hull jig because the keel sections are in the way.
I've got the bottom panel on the hull jig

At the transom, the bottom panel lines up with the edge of the transom frame

As I start moving forward the hull is further and further from the center line of the boat and overhangs the edge of the frame.

And the edge of the panel is right up against the base of the keel mold on station G

I'm not sure what I am doing wrong here.
Should I remove the keel molds when laying the bottom panels on?

That is a big relief!! I thought I had really screwed up the bottom panels or the frames. I agree that definitely would have been useful information to know that bottom panels do not fit with the keel molds on. Not sure why that isn't made clear in the instructions.

I knew something looked wrong in the setup so I went searching for you. The search function can be a big help, but not as fun as dialogue. But shit like that can keep me awake at night, so try to help when I can.

It's been so long I can't remember if I had any issues with mine. Found a few pix online. Lost most of my old pix with a computer crash.

Sorry for the delayed reply: I was sick with Covid and could not think straight. Anyway, it looks like the problem is solved.
