It didn’t had any bubble. I was very careful with that.
Some marks were correct between the water hose and the laser, and others were off by 4-5mm. I have no explanation for it.

I’m sure the laser is the correct one.
tbh, I gave up on the water method for a laser as well; much easier

Time to order some marine plywood and epoxy. The jig is done.

Well done! Is this gonna be a center console? I’m watching all the builds on here and it’s got me itching to get back to my little sneak boat and once that’s done my MM21 that I just got plans for.

Yes, center console. My current boat has a tiller, but with age I will appreciate remote steering with a center console.

Just to be sure.

Is that gap between the bottom of the transom and the bottom of the MW side panel supposed to happen (about 5mm).

The keel is aligned and leveled with the rest of the frames, but doing so the gap appears in the MW panel on both sides.

Thanks!

No, that gap shouldn't be there (is it even 5mm?), but don't make assumptions about what is wrong yet. I see a string line from the transom forward, if it is showing the transom is at the right height, then you could lower the motor well sides. Maybe once the hull sides go on you'll be more informed, I wouldn't recut anything at this stage.

The transom is aligned with the rest of the frames with the string. What is at the same height is the design water level line. The “keel” of all the stations are aligned with the string barely thatching all the frames.

This gap doesn’t look correct because it will influence the shape of the boat.

Just measured it. It’s 3mm.

Agree with PeeWee, don't trim/cut things yet and get the sides up. They may tell a story. It's just gonna take some fiddling.

I just noticed that the metric plans for MW side shows 11mm out of perpendicular. In the imperial plans shows 3/8 which is 9.5mm. If I have chosen the metric, the gap would be 1.5mm instead of 3mm.
