This is the exact thing I mentioned in the "oh oh" thread fallguy started. As near as i can tell this is something with those of us that are on IPV6 converted providers going through to BBC hosting provider. I don't get it because sometimes is solid. Other times it is ... crap. The BBC systems are IPV6 compliant as is the provider. There has to be something in the middle that is unhappy. The edges that I control are all showing good. I'm sorry I can't get us a better answer at this time.

Jaysen I did not now want to bring this up again but I never had a problem with any previous Bateau server. Now I am getting timed out 1-3 times per day and most of my posts are very slow. I am sick and tired of this. For the 15-20 years I have been on the forum this has never been a problem till recently. While I appreciate all your doing if you can't do it get help. Jacques had a dedicated IT man for what you're doing. Again thank you for what you doing.

Still having trouble when I hit submit. Stalls out, I hit submit again and the thing logs the post, but gives me a warning that I cannot repost. Then it holds my comment in the input box. So, Tom, is not fully mistaken. I just deal with it.

The timeouts have happened a few times.

The only common thread is that all the "issues" are showing up on accounts that are showing IPv6 and a specific set of service providers. I'm not suggesting that specific companies like Comcast are penalizing traffic to smaller sites or sites that aren't paid advertisers, but there appears to be a trend developing.

Tom, I'll say this to you once. Until you put some dedicated money into supporting the forums, you need to stop complaining in this manner publicly. If you want to indicate that something didn't work at a specific time, that is helpful and I appreciate the information. But telling me that I need to get help is as useful as me telling you to actually build a boat. Start thinking about what you are saying before you hit submit.

This is the "post-throttling" that isn't making sense. I see it when I shift from IPv4 to IPv6 network but only if that network is behind comcast (local network I have access too). The IPv6 network that is not comcast works fine. The non-comcast network shows up as IPv4 on the forums which makes me scratch my head a little. The asymmetrical nature (only happens on posting) and infrequent, really makes this difficult to troubleshoot.

I have the same issues with submitting a post. Using Verizon wireless from my phone. I hit submit and it freezes up. Hit submit again and it tells me I can't submit again. Back out and the post is there on the forum.

Not a problem now that I know how it is misbehaving, just a slight annoyance. Just letting you know.
