I am in the same line of thought. But most all bulbous bows you see rounded and water is push up them that seems to start the first bow wave. It is becoming very interesting.

Re: Bulbous bows
So, today, I am working on building the BB bottom mould.
All the stations are done, I changed one as I have two sets of numbers for it and the one I made seemed wrong.
Now, just filling up the bottom with something to fill the gaps.

Some minimal fairing today. All underwater, so this thing is not getting much fairing work.

None of the geometry is making sense. Parts are not in plane. I made miscuts, but checked my dimensions and they are also not making sense.

Sorry FG!!! Jeff

Any better today? Having time to rest and sit and think sometimes helps. You *will* get it sorted out one way or another, but I fully sympathise. Some days are like that and not much anyone can do to help from afar after a bad day. Hope the situation clarifies itself soon.fallguy1000 wrote: ↑Sun May 21, 2023 6:25 pm None of the geometry is making sense. Parts are not in plane. Re: Bulbous bows
I figured it out and there are 3 separate plates or planes, so I wasn't wrong, but did miscut some..
