Milestone. :D Second one will be easier. :wink:
Currently building Jacques Mertens ST21 "Skinnydip". Boating adventures: Splash testing and using 'Skinnydip, as a basis of further building refinement; Adams 44’ sailing sloop "Great Sandy" (cruising and maintaining); Iain Oughtred Feather Pram "Mini Dip" (building); Jacques Mertens R13 "Wood Duck" (built and due for maintenance).

They drink resin. I gotta learn infusion. 8 hours of drippin sticky hard work for a lesser outcome..

Jeff-we need to start some infusion here! Resins, breather, lines, all of it..get on it..

This was a non vac layup?
Did you consider vinylester resin?
My already completed 'Lil Bit'. A Martens Goosen V12 set up to sail me to the fishing holes.
Currently working on making a Helms 24 our coastal cruiser.

The entire boat was built in epoxy. Considered VE for about 5 minutes...

Just order 6 gallons from Jeff. He has to keep the lights on..

Today, I cutout the bulkheads from corecell scraps and added some layers of glass to meet the spec.

Still need to do reverse, but this stuff is medium MAS epoxy and already gelled; so probably reverse later today. I worked super fast for a 30 minute gel time.

After they are done; I have other .... to do

Tomorrow will bond the BH and the backbone into the cradle glass.

Friday will lift it out and trim it and maybe take it up to the boat for a test fit; we'll see.

Will the V section you've been laminating up, after trimming, be epoxy welded to the exising hull and become the lower face of the bulb?

Yup. It gets welded using aircraft techniques of pre-releasing bonding flanges. Basically pre-tabbing to shipping tape..then pulling it off to increase the glue surface area.
