Lightweight interior wall material

Post by jbo_c »

Thinking what the best lightweight interior wall material will be for my shanty. The walls will be insulated, so I need a finished layer for the inside.

I’m thinking luaun doorskins(3mm, I believe) will be an inexpensive and acceptable option. I can install them with rosettes and wood screws so they’re removable later if there’s ever a need.

Think moisture would be an issue? This boat won’t live in the water, but it will be stored outside(under cover).

Other good options?

Thanks.

If your using sheet foam for insulation you might use a light S2 glass , cut the foam shy on the bottom and add weep holes to drain and ventilate
